Using Memory Mapped Files

Does the code protector interfere with an application that uses memory mapped files to communicate between instances.  I have an application that when compiled in debug can communicate between instances useing memory mapped files,  but when I use the code protector communication does not work with the release version.

RE:Using Memory Mapped Files

Hi Kent,

Can you confirm that this works in Release mode with Code Protector turned off?

[If you are using the older Microsoft.Licensing runtime, to turn off code protection  remove SLPS_PROTECT in the Release configuration.  If you are using the newer SpAgent runtime please add SKIP_PROTECT in the Release configuration.]

If it is the case that this issue only arises in protected code, can you send a small repro of the issue to support@softwarepotential.com so we can investigate further?

Thanks

John
